Courses

Here at Two Green Threads we believe building self awareness and wildlife volunteer knowledge does more than just build self confidence. We see it as mental health stabiliser that broadens perspective, lessens anxiety and helps build resilience.

Two Green Threads is underpinned by three pillars of change; Sustaining Individuals, Building Community and Expanding Knowledge.  Our offered courses will vary over time and draw on some element of each of these pillars.

Conversations that Matter for Wildlife Volunteers

As a dispersed national community of wildlife volunteers, we rarely have time to have conversations that give voice to what we are experiencing and how we are feeling. To explore this in a supportive and caring environment Two Green Threads partnered with the Quest for Life Foundation to offer a course where we can safely explore the conversations that matter for us as volunteers in this sector.

The Quest for Life Foundation is a highly regarded not-for-profit skilled at navigating programs and community-based workshops that encourage, educate and empower people to improve their resilience and peace of mind during difficult times. The Foundation has 32 years of experience assisting people living with trauma to find hope, healing and peace.

Online Wildlife and Nature Sketch Journaling Course for Wildlife Volunteers

Two Green Threads has partnered with NatureArt Lab for a special wildlife and nature journaling course – free for wildlife volunteers.

Understand the role of creative expression in the way emotions and the mind works. Find out why mindfulness – purposely bringing your attention to the present moment – immersion in nature plus creative expression are important for your health and wellbeing.
